Dr. Liaoran Wang is a liver transplant surgeon at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University and holds a PhD in Surgery from Zhejiang University School of Medicine. His research focuses on xenotransplantation, with particular emphasis on immune rejection mechanisms in liver xenografts. Dr. Wang’s work investigates the role of anti-pig antibodies and innate immune responses in liver xenotransplantation. He has presented his findings at international conferences such as the Congress of the Asian Society of Transplantation and Asian Transplantation Week, and has published several of his works in this field.
